Texas Master Beekeeper Program – Apprentice Level
March 30 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Texas A&M AgriLife is excited to announce that registration is now open for the Texas Master Beekeeper Program (TMBP), a 10-week course at both the Apprentice and Advanced levels. These courses are designed to provide structured, research-based education to help beekeepers build knowledge and progress through the Texas Master Beekeeper Program.
Course details:
- 10-week guided online course
- Weekly modules and lessons
- Self-paced access with scheduled weekly progression
- Suitable for all beekeepers
Registration links:
- Apprentice Level
- Requirements: None
- Session Day: Mondays
- Time: 9 a.m. – noon

- Advanced Level

Both courses are now hosted on the new permanent AgriLife Learn platform, where participants will have indefinite access to course materials. As we continue expanding the Texas Master Beekeeper Program, additional trainings — including the Master level and future specialty courses — will also be housed on this site. This will create a centralized learning hub for Texas beekeepers.
For beekeepers who took the courses last year, we will add you to the new platform!
We are also adding hands-on experiences to the course. We will provide more information about these regional field days in the near future. However, all beekeepers registered for the 10-week course will have access to the in-hive sessions. We expect those to be located in Overton, Fort Worth, Lubbock, Kerrville, and Houston in the spring (April-May).
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions!
