About us
The Smith County Master Gardeners Association (SCMGA) supports its community by sharing research-based horticultural information and Earth-Kind® principles. Our diverse programs—including plant sales, garden tours, conferences, and seminars—educate both beginners and seasoned gardeners.
Central to our mission are innovative research and demonstration gardens. These spaces function as outdoor classrooms where residents and visitors learn environmentally friendly techniques, sustainable horticultural practices, and stewardship. Ultimately, the team guides the community toward a greener, more sustainable future that nourishes both plants and the environment.
