Culinary Herbs

Join Smith County Master Gardener Elizabeth Waldrop for Herb Gardening. An introduction to herb gardening, including how to care for herbs, which ones grow well in East Texas, and how to harvest and prepare them. There will also be some simple no-cook recipes demonstrated, including herb butters, vinegars, and seasoning salt. Great for adults and older children.

Where: East Texas Food Bank, 3201 Robertson Ave., Tyler, Texas, in the kitchen classroom
