A fun project for home gardeners, Texas Master Gardener groups, or even 4-H members. Certain rules apply as follows:

• Must be grown in Texas by entered contestant.
• Pumpkin must be healthy and undamaged; free of rot, holes, and cracks.
• Judges will supervise the weighing and have the right to inspect the pumpkin before it is weighed. Fresh superficial damage caused by lifting straps or growth cracks will not count towards disqualification.
• The vine must be trimmed within one inch from the stem
• If there is a tie, the prize may be split equally.
• Judges’ decisions are final.

Entry deadline – August 1, 2025

First place prize is $500

Weigh-in will occur in Stephens County on October 25^th, 2025.
