Colonial Crafts from the Garden

Join Smith County Master Gardener, Elizabeth Waldrop, at the Lillie Russell Library. Elizabeth will present “Colonial Crafts from the Garden”. A fun, interactive program honoring our nation’s 250th anniversary and explaining how garden-grown and natural products were used by indigenous peoples and the earliest European settlers. There will be flower pressing and bookmark making, crafts using gourds, and scented sachets stuffed with various dried herbs. Geared for younger audiences and families.
