Texas Master Gardeners Virtual Leadership Conference

June 22 @ 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm

2026 TMG Leadership Conference

Following the intensive four-day International Master Gardener Conference hosted by Texas in 2025—which drew record-breaking attendance and set a new benchmark for energy and engagement—we are taking a more intentional approach this year. To create space for rest, reflection, and renewal, we are offering a streamlined one-day conference on June 29, 2026, paired with a focused Leadership session on June 22, 2026.

The Restorative Garden is a one-day virtual conference designed specifically for Texas Master Gardeners, centered on renewal—of landscapes, knowledge, and the volunteers who steward them. Grounded in the idea that healthy gardens, like people, require periods of rest and thoughtful care, the program explores how to sustain and rejuvenate landscapes over time.

Through engaging sessions led by AgriLife specialists and experienced practitioners, participants will explore topics such as plant resilience, designing environments for health and longevity, container foodscaping, practical garden maintenance, public garden engagement, and strategies for revitalizing overworked or aging landscapes. Just as importantly, the conference creates space for Master Gardeners to pause, reflect, and reconnect with their purpose.

This one-day experience offers practical education, meaningful connection, and renewed inspiration—equipping participants to return to their communities re-energized and ready to support both thriving gardens and the people who care for them.

*A half-day Leadership Training will be held on June 22, 2026. The speaker we have secured is so phenomenal, we have had to work with his schedule to present this workshop.
