SUMMARY:Growing Citrus Successfully in Containers and Cool Climates
DESCRIPTION:Nacogdoches\, TX– SFA Gardens will host the monthly Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series at 7:00 pm on July 10 in the Ina Brundrett Conservation Education Building at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center\, 2900 Raguet Street\, Nacogdoches.  Anna Timmerman\, Horticulture Extension Agent for LSU AgCenter\, will present “Growing Citrus Successfully in Containers and Cool Climates.” \nTimmerman has served with the LSU AgCenter for nine years and is currently stationed in the greater New Orleans area working with home gardeners\, farmers\, and green industry professionals. SUMMARY:June Monthly Membership Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Just a short time ago\, you might have thought that Rose Rosette was a women’s corsage or even a scented spray for freshening the air like your grandmother used in the bathroom. The Master Gardener program has researched the disease and has discovered more about the dreaded rose deformer. If you want to know more the disease and many of the activities the Master Gardeners do\, make plans to attend the next SCMGA Meeting when our own Debby Watkins will share her knowledge as a Rose Rosette Warrior. \nWhen:  Thursday\, June 5\, 2025\nWhere:  Tyler Rose Garden Center\nTime:    10:00 am \nDoor prizes will be available.
