SUMMARY:Learn Why Plants Are the Answer at SFA Gardens Lecture
DESCRIPTION:Nacogdoches\, TX — SFA Gardens will host the monthly Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series at 7:00 pm on October 9 in the Ina Brundrett Conservation Education Building at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center\, 2900 Raguet Street\, Nacogdoches. \nDawn Stover will present “Plants Are the Answer!” and share her decades of hands-on experience and native plant conservation.  Stover is the founder and owner of The Nectar Connector.  She is a longtime advocate for using locally adapted native plants to attract and support butterflies and other beneficial insects. \nThe Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series is held on the second Thursday of each month and includes a plant raffle after the program.  Attendance is free\, and donations to the lecture series fund are always appreciated.  Parking is available at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center and Raguet Elementary\, 2708 Raguet Street. \nFor more information\, call 936-468-4129 or email sfagardens@sfasu.edu.

DESCRIPTION:Registration is now open for the Clymer Meadow Preserve Tour! \nThe Clymer Meadow Preserve Tallgrass Tour is a guided walking tour across the beautiful tallgrass prairie at our Clymer Meadow Preserve near Celeste\, Texas. \nThe Nature Conservancy’s Clymer Meadow Preserve is a 1\,475-acre preserve that protects one of the largest and last remaining remants of the Blackland Prairie.
